MacBook Fn key issue on windows 7Few months back i installed windows 7 on MacBook. Windows 7 is a nice operating system (at least UI). Intel based Macbook allows you to install Windows Operating system using boot camp feature. In the MacBook you can see function keys on the top of the keywords. these are really handy when you want on change screen brightness , play/stop music, control volume etc. These function key also works on windows 7 or any other windows. It worked for me as well. But one day i found these buttons are not working for me anymore. I didn't even notice when these keys stopped working for me. At last i found there is not a bootcamp icon on the system tray. Previously i have noticed that there shows the bootcamp gray icon on the system tray(right corner of taskbar). Then i figured out that bootcamp service must be run to these Fn keys working. I figured out that bootcamp service hasn't started at windows startup. Then i manually started the bootcamp service located at "C:\Program Files\Boot Camp\KbdMgr.exe". Now i can see the gray icon on the system tray and the keyword Fn keys are also working. I can now change the brightness, adjust volumes with keyword. If Fn keys has stopped working on your windows on MacBook, check it Bootcamp service is running or not.
