HTML tags get removed from articles in joomla

This is because joomla implements filter option while saving data from the editor. This is a security feature implemented by joomla so that front end users might not send malicious code through the editor to you website. Due to this filtering option, you might notice problems trying to save a Youtube video, or embedding other Javascript or Flash objects into your Articles. You can change the option how the filtering options applies to you articles If the default filtering option is not suitable for your needs, you can change it by using the Article Global Configuration options. For example, to change the default settings so that no filtering happens for members of the Super Administrator group,Editor group and Publisher Group.
