How to capture portion of screen on mac.
Press Command + Shift + 4 and relase the keys. Cross hair cursor will be seen to select the area. Drag the mouse and release to capture the screen. Png file will be saved on the desktop.
How to capture full screen:
Press Command + Shift + 3 and release the keys. The screen shot of your whole area will be save on your desktop.
